Nueva School Environmental Center
The Nueva School’s new science and environmental center is a 100% electric, zero net energy building representing a model of sustainability and environmental stewardship that is both inspirational and educational for students. The building provides exceptional indoor air quality, thermal comfort and simple and reliable operation. It is LEED Gold certified.
Red Car Analytics provided building commissioning services to meet LEED v4 Fundamental Commissioning for energy related systems including: radiant system and associated hydronic pumps, air sourced heat pump, make-up air unit, energy recovery ventilators, exhaust fans, building automation systems (BAS) controls, domestic water heating system, electrical systems, lighting control systems, irrigation system, photovoltaic system, rainwater harvesting system, electric resistance heaters, ceiling fans, HVAC controls, and submeters.
