Hillary believes in using measured data to better inform design decisions and to create more accurate modeling predictions. Her work focuses on bringing both pre-design data and post-occupancy data into actionable building upgrades. Utilizing real world performance data is especially important when designing zero net energy and high performance buildings that are not only energy efficient but also low cost and comfortable. ​


Neil is a principal and founding partner at Red Car Analytics. Neil has over 14 years experience in low energy HVAC systems, MEP design strategies, and using energy simulation and analysis to inform trade-offs. He has worked on more than a dozen Zero Net Energy projects, providing detailed energy analysis and recommendations for building HVAC systems and architecture. Well known for his expertise in building energy use and energy modeling, Neil has a unique ability to translate how buildings function to clients.



Michele Sagehorn is a principal and founding partner at at Red Car Analytics, LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Energy Manager, and a Six Sigma Certification. Over her 15 year career, she has helped clients make informed decisions to achieve their visions and goals through her knowledge and insight of real building data analytics and ability to translate the data into useful information for decision makers. As a commissioning agent, she has led eight zero-net energy and twelve carbon neutral buildings.


Ryan is a senior consultant at Red Car Analytics with expertise in energy systems. He has served in many roles, including as a lead field engineer for code readiness programs and led the field data collection for a multi-year study on VRF and DOAS systems with heat recovery. In building commissioning, Ryan has served as a project engineer for various phases of new construction and retro-commissioning for biomedical, educational, and data center facilities.

Michael is a senior consultant at Red Car Analytics with 14 years’ experience as a building energy modeling software developer, consultant, and director. He has enjoyed helping different audiences understand technical information using building simulation and data analysis. He is excited to join Red Car Analytics and apply his knowledge to impact carbon reduction for buildings and engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and clients.


Willy is a building performance engineer at Red Car Analytics. Willy has organized and conducted onsite building energy analyses including energy audits, plug load studies and financial analysis to identify scenarios by which designing a building to Zero Net Energy has an attractive life cycle cost. His experience at a MEP design firm and as a Project Engineer gives him a unique perspective about the importance of de-carbonizing new and existing buildings.

Ishita is an energy engineer at Red Car Analytics. She is passionate about analyzing energy data and is involved in continuously monitoring and analyzing building HVAC data to make it more efficient using energy modeling software. With her interest in data analysis and visualization she works on transforming raw building data into information that helps in making decisions to reduce the energy consumption of the buildings.

Cynthia has worked in office management and administration for most of her professional life. With a passion for helping young students, she became the founding executive director of a non-profit computer center and spent over 15 years developing programs and representing the organization, often through donor solicitation and grant writing. She loves learning and is excited to use her skills to support a company devoted to advancing a greener building industry. Cynthia brings her business experience to Red Car by supporting the team in business operations, copy editing and marketing.
